Beautify Bethel

We plant and maintain many public gardens, as well as dozens of downtown window boxes. We go on Weed ‘n Walks to keep the public gardens looking their best, and to recognize especially pretty downtown neighborhood gardens with seed-embedded “thank you” cards!

Grow in Knowledge

We sponsor The Bethel Garden Club Annual Gardening Series at the Bethel Public Library. See the Library's online calendar at www.bethellibrary.org for information and to register. In addition, many Club meetings are followed by a presentation from a guest speaker. They are open to the public and will be posted here and on our Facebook page.

Serve the Community

We play an active role in the Bethel community by connecting with other local groups to make Bethel beautiful — from high school students who need community service hours, to senior citizens who have fun with garden therapy. We also create spectacular May baskets to brighten up our municipal department offices.

Grab your camera or your sketchbook and charcoals, because there are so many highlights on one of these tours, you’ll want to capture them all. From deserted paper mills to highest local peaks, from ice carved caves to ancient trees, enjoy the very best sites in the region.
